Located on the District Kepulauan Seribu, specifically on Kepulauan Seribu Utara Sub District, approximately 45 km from Jakarta
KSNP is a park composed of 78 islands with unique vegetation. Endangered animals like the hawksbill sea turtle and the green sea turtle nest in the islands, while the park also runs a rehabilitation programme which aims to reverse the decline of the three species of eagles found in the islands.
The national park is a combination of terrestrial and shallow marine ecosystems (corral reef, mangrove and seagrass), with 78 small islands.
Rich in mangrove and seagrass species.
The park is a breeding ground for green and hawksbill sea turtles. Southern giant clams from the family Cardiidae and other giant clams thrive in the area.
