World Oceans Day

Oceans and seas may physically divide the Earth’s land mass, but these bodies of water in fact connect our lives, our biodiversity, and our natural heritage. Thus, as much as our marine and coastal ecosystems are ecologically connected, so must our actions be, to save biodiversity.

Focusing on collective actions to #RevitalizeTheOcean, this year’s #WorldOceansDay celebration highlights the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration and synergies to help better identify and address critical emerging issues facing coastal and marine biodiversity in the ASEAN region.
